Do my friends need the app?
No. They get a link in a text, select what they had, and see what they owe. The pay page opens Venmo, Cash App or PayPal.
Does Vallis hold my money?
Never. Vallis splits the bill. Requests open Venmo or your messages, and the money goes between you and your friends.
Which apps can I request with?
You request on Venmo or with a text that has the breakdown. Your friends can pay you back on Venmo, Cash App or PayPal, using the handles you save in Vallis. On iPhone, they can also send you Apple Cash right in the same Messages thread.
What happens to my receipt photo?
It's deleted once it's read. With Gold you can choose to keep it with the split.
Will Vallis text my friends?
No. Reminders open your own messages with the words already written. Your friends only ever hear from you.
Vallis never sells your data.
Not to advertisers, not to anyone. There are no ads in Vallis, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites.
Never sold
Your splits, receipts and the people you split with aren't sold to anyone or used for ads.
Receipt photos aren't kept
A photo is read, then discarded, unless you choose to keep it with Gold.
